The school of thought which is headed by Doctor of Engineering Science, professor V.P. Popov was formed during the decades of active work and is well known both in Russsia and abroad. Many staff members of the department worked on scientific probation at foreign universities and research centres. The department graduates specialists acoording to the following specialities:

• 210406 Communication Networks and Systems

The department gives the bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering. There are also an opportunity of doing post-graduate studies, getting a Doctor's degree.
